| It's right what you say Simon that the staff work their socks off for little pay.The idea of commuting is fine if you have a higher paid office job,but the staff are saving peoples lives, if they worked 5 days per week they are paying between £20-£60 per month out of their wages. I am afraid that i can only fight one battle at a time,as well as coping with a busy life.I am just "little ole me!" with regard to the a day charge i think it's a good idea to copy Barnet hospital that has £3 per 24 hours like colin suggested which is good for patients that have to return 4 times a day for treatment. For relatives that are visiting patients that are in for a stay i think they should be given a pass, because if a patient was admitted for a stay of lets say 10 days then that would add up to £50 if the charge were £5 per day. this would benefit people like you simon and Mary Dowling. These patients need the support of their relatives and will also ease the work load of the staff. I think the 10 minute drop off zone should be extended to 30 minutes with the Gas Guzzeler having more of a simpathetic attitude. any more idea's ,anything i have forgotten? |
