| I haven’t looked though all the posts on this thread so I hope I’m not repeating someone else’s view. Has anyone ask the disabled drivers or passengers what they think about the petition? I have asked four, one under 60 and the other three over 60, all were fine about paying if the charges were reduced or one standard fee for x amount in 24 hours as another poster has mentioned. The only concern they had was the disabled bays were kept near to the main building. There are a few hospitals, “Brompton” for one which has no disabled parking or a car park, so its find a meter pay for an hour and get an hour free with the blue badge, you have to take a mortgage out to attend a clinic there or visit a ward for two or three weeks. |
