| Linda Green is indeed a very highly-regarded councillor, and is one of those people whose popularity transcends party politics due to the fact that she is approachable and is willing to engage with and help people regardless of which way they may have voted at the time when she was elected. She would be the first to admit that she is no political idealogue, but that can actually be an asset when serving as an advocate for local people as I myself discovered when on the council. Whoever replaces her on May 3rd and whatever their talents, she will be sorely missed. |
