| I have just seen the Lib Dems Focus leaflet and it seems they will tackle the Twickenham Road environmental mess caused 100% by Labours' closure of Church Street. Also they say they will focus on the environmental mess caused by the poor management of Mogden. Labour Cllrs have ignored the problems and allowed Thames Water to run the site as it will. The last Councillors to be actively involved in holding Thames Water to account were the ICG Cllrs. Thames Water were terrified of the ICG whilst they have openly held the current Labour lot in contempt. The Lib Dems need to offer more than just 'monitoring' the site though. Its been 'monitored' for long enough. Residents want to see ACTION now not just words!! |
