Of the three Isleworth Labour candidates Councillor Sampson is obviously the one who most has owenrship of the Church Street decision bearing in mind the other two were not party to the decision. I am hearing reports that Councillor Sampson has joined Momentum (at the same time as remaining a Curran loyalist - how's that for taking out insurance?). I was wondering therefore if she was familiar with Momentum's published objective, viz. "to increase participatory democracy, solidarity, and grassroots power"? I don't think the founders of Momentum had mind that participation would be limited to a few personal mates, a ragbag of UKIP supporters and hangers-on, and a handful of people from Church Street. |
