Hello Joe - thanks for sharing the April 27, 2015 letter to Defra. Interesting though that from June 2017 to Oct / Nov 2017 the odour levels and complaints were unprecedented yet the Thames Water Managing Director responsible for waste water refused to attend any Residents' Liaison meetings and sent instead the office juniors. Movement of odour monitors promised over a year ago still hasn't taken place. The monitors are conveniently missing from some high odour areas or strategically placed in areas where high levels of odour cannot be recorded. The Labour Council is happy with that approach because it lets them off the hook of taking legal action / issuing Abatement Notices if the odour cannot be accurately recorded. |
