| "The women I know say its a waste of time voting anyway." Not sure who these women you know are - but it is NEVER a waste of time to vote. Why do so many people in so many countries around the world still fight for that right and value it? We still live in a democracy and regardless of what some people's odd view is we can get rid of the people we don't like if enough people are engaged - this is a thing that should be taught in schools, as it is fundamental to how we live. Quite often it is a majority of the minority that bother to turn out to participate that carry the day, that's possibly why we constantly get the same old thing? |
