| I don't personally use the South Street Café as I don't feel I'd be welcome in there. However my wife Caroline called in a little while ago for a coffee and a slice of cake, which she said was delicious. She also told me the service was very good. She was, however, in the company of Councillor Linda Green at the time, and we find ourselves wondering whether it was news of this short and entirely innocuous social meeting between them which led, or at least contributed, to Linda's deselection? Anyone who is familiar with present-day Isleworth politics would agree that this is by no means a fanciful suggestion. |
