| The real point is that the temporary closure as it is worded is not enforceable as it is flawed. When travelling along Park Road, with Church Street closed, you arrive at the entrance to Syon Park BEFORE the exit. It is therefore impossible to close access towards Church Street from the Syon Park entrance as that would effectively close Syon Park! One COULD close the road from a point adjacent to the EXIT from Syon Park but that is not what the signs say. Then again you could not do that either as the notice refers to closing Church Street from a point which is actually on Park Road - OOPS!. Top it off with the fact that the closure notice refers to a Street Party, which was never going to be a Street Party and it is clear to see just how our taxes get wasted around here. |
