| Vanessa, I was raised to ensure I always gave time and money to charities and I have worked with numerous charities over the years, so please do not belittle the work that is being done here for two worthy local Charities - it is incredibly disrepectful. You may want to remember that when you were elected to represent Isleworth Ward you were supposed to represent the entire ward not just those that you had categorised by class as being worthy and those that voted for you. You may actually want to think about how negligent you and other councillors have been in not protecting the residents of Church Street over the last 20 years throughout which time the residents have been asking for help from the council to calm the road and make it safe for the residents and pedestrians. It is only since 2010 that the residents of Church Street have been taken seriously by local councillors, councillors who clearly do represent the entire ward and not just those who voted for them for political gain. It does not surprise me that you lost your seat, but it was such a great day for Isleworth that it may actually be able to move forward with the rest of London and not stay in the 1980s. |
