| The issue of whether or not the organisers of these 'artisan markets' and associated beanos have bothered to apply for a temporary road closure has been raised. The closure order only applies to the area between 24 - 29 Church St. meaning that you or I could drive right down to the barrier past The Apprentice and turn around if we so wished. Similarly we could drive over Mill Plat to the barrier the other end and turn, those parts of Church St. are STILL public highway and no-one has the right to commandeer them for their use without the proper procedure being adhered to. So perhaps we could be told whether or not this has been done? |
