| this is such a shame. I hate that the community is so divided and that this road closure has had such a devastating effect on so many many people's family lives. Church Street is just the wrong place for those "Inspiring Isleworth" events. It feels like salt been rubbed into a wound. The ideas however seem great can could be used to bring people together - just not in Church Street. Wouldn't the square by Burchell of Old Islworth be better, or the green - or maybe the area around Isleworth Town hall or the area across the road from the town hall? Those areas are much better served - more visible, easier to get too and are close to some parking. There are loads more suitable places. Come on people use your creativity - and work on making people smile again. I know you can do it. Church Street is not the place for these events. |
