Saul - when during the day and where do you honestly have trouble parking? I admit that I travel to work by train but when I have a day off I have never had any trouble getting parked when I go out during the day time. If you can't get parked at, say, between the hours of 10 and 4, then who could be parking in your road? It won't be the 'congestion zone dodgers' because they would have used the station earlier and therefore would have parked in an available space earlier. As for the 'day trippers' referred to in an earlier post, I really don't think Brentford is so inundated with those as to prevent parking down 3 whole roads. So who do you think is parking in your road that prevents you from parking? It's other residents and people that work in the area. People who will also be buying permits. So it will not change your situation at all...except now you will have to pay for the priviledge of not being able to park. |
