| I have had this update from a council officer this very day: "we will have a soft update for you before the end of the week with a more detailed showcase of the works in about a fortnight. The works being scoped are substantial and Hounslow Highways are working with experts who have worked on footbridges in the borough previously and have a good record of quality work on our structures" This follows the visit by consultant engineers which was scheduled for 14th January and happened on or about that date. As I thought, based on pictures sent to me by a resident, this problem is a lot more serious than a plywood panel working loose. I will update when I can - remind me, preferably by email as I don't look here every day. |
