| Michael, I may be indirectly responsible for this because a resident raised it with me as a danger a little while ago. I haven't inspected in detail myself but the pictures supplied to me suggest it is a bit more of a job than you suggest - they show what appears to be significant rot in what appears to be an important beam (though I make no claim to be a civil engineer). We have established the bridge belongs to the Canal and River Trust and is called “Orbit Footbridge 207A”. The problem was reported to them by Greenspace 360 back in mid September but I have heard no more since. I am making enquiries and will update as and when. |
