| Aren't most of us car drivers, bus passengers, pedestrians and maybe cyclists and hikers too? It's a complicated balancing act, trying to do the best for all these uses of transit space, aka roads & pavements & railway tracks. But we do now realise that air pollution is really dangerous to health so I'm totally supportive of the move towards cleaner transport. We're thinking of changing our 8YO diesel car (subject to ULEZ next year, quite rightly) and it's a difficult choice. EV infrastructure is in its infancy and we have no way to charge overnight so we're leaning towards the HEV with smallish battery option. But my latest pride and joy is the seat post suspension I just fitted to my bike. |
