| If your question is about Blue Badge concessions, as far as I know there has been no discussion. Hounslow has generous provision for Blue Badge holders and where I am aware of discussions - for example in the changes in Devonshire road in Chiswick - they are fully protected. Personally I don't see any special reason to exempt Blue Badge holders from rat running restrictions and I'm not sure if this has been considered. As Eric (and I) said, it is obviously impossible to give categoric assurances that "they will neither be disadvantaged nor will have access issues to healthcare and other social facilities by the implementation of these schemes". They will be able to park as normal and we are hoping those who can will forgo their cars as much as possible to keep the borough moving. |
