| Dave If I had any idea what you were going on about I might be able to agree or disagree with you. You haven't known me for most of my life, thank goodness, but we have had this conversation about "left wingers" and "socialists" before. Or rather I have, because whenever I have asked you for examples of where I have criticised somebody for being left wing or a socialist you have invariably either ignored me or changed the subject. My problem with the local Labour Party has nothing to do with what political views some of its members might once have held, as well you know. But by all means keep telling yourself otherwise and remain in opposition if you and yours believe that to be the smartest thing to do. |
