| "William E Hughes" Is that the same person who used to post on the Chiswick Forum as Bill Hughes? In the W4 posts I've seen Bill seemed to be on the touchline again firing shots...in the same direction. Anyway..back to the subject...I think that the Water Board is being hit by the sad neglect of the system back in the 60's and 70's when the employees had one of the cushiest, slack jobs going. I used to study some of their employment practices, and pay and productivity deals. Yes some people put in a days work..but many didn't. Money was ..so to speak..being poured down the drain. |
