| Steve "William E Hughes" is clearly a spokesperson for the Labour Party and was almost certainly one of the three candidates who stood for election in Isleworth just over a month ago. Repeated requests to the moderators of this site to confirm his bona fides have been ignored. His interesting contribution rather gives the lie to his party's claims to have supported the residents' legal claim, which as you know most local voters realised at the time were bogus. It would appear that the people of Isleworth have had a lucky escape, and we can now finally set about taking Thames Water to task in the sure knowledge that residents and council are at last singing from the same hymnsheet. |
