Peter, I don't think I am misrepresenting your position. As I understand it this is that you would be willing to consider the launch of a site 'subject to certain conditions'. Is this incorrect? My assertion would be that you should be actively seeking to do all you possibly can to get a site launched rather than waiting for an approach otherwise it would appear other areas would be given priority. If the company isn't interested in Isleworth as Kevin suggestes then you can avoid accusations that you are blocking the site being set up, but at the moment you have put yourself in a somewhat embarrassing position. I would speculate that you are unable or unwilling to do this because of the personal position of one of your members vis a vis the site. There really is only one way to prove me wrong. I'm not making a party political point. I understand that a senior member of the local Labour party is similarly persona non grata on BrentfordTW8.com. This may go some way to explaining the lack of enthusiasm for the site from the Council but two wrongs do not make a right. I was under the impression that I had answered any questions that you had addressed to me. As you did me the courtesy of answering mine please fire away if there is anything else you would like to ask. |
