| For the record, like his friend Mr.Corcoran Dan Evans continually misrepresents the ICG's position on the release of the TW7.com domain. Although it would require a majority decision by the ICG committee, as far as I am aware there is no opposition to releasing the domain for a site such as this should NeighbourNet ask us to do so (whether they would be interested in doing so is of course a separate issue and beyond our control). It was initially purchased as a precaution. Our position on this is explained quite clearly on the thread started by James de Vivenot under the heading "IsleworthTW7.com". One can only speculate as to Dan Evans' and Paul Corcoran's motives for repeatedly trying to mislead people on this matter. It is interesting to learn that the managers of the site consider the Council to be unsupportive of their efforts. Possibly a new administration would take a more positive approach? Meanwhile, anybody still following this thread will have noticed that Mr. Evans has responded to my question but hasn't answered it. |
