I see. Now let me get this straight. In your view the ICG's strategy should have been to spend thousands of pounds of donated residents' money campaigning in wards it is unlikely to win as a distraction tactic to enable Conservatives to be elected in "their" wards - which apparently now includes Syon, where they cam FOURTH in 2002 - so that said Conservative councillors can then refuse to work with them as part of a new administration? This seems a very attractive proposition for the ICG. Didn't it occur to you to put it to them before nominations closed? |
