The number of GPs per 100,000 population rose consistently whilst Labour were in power nationally, from 55 in 1997 (when Blair was elected) to 65 in 2010 (when the coalition started). The number has fallen sharply since and in 2018 was back down to 58. North West London appears to be the worst of the lot.
