Guy, I was writing that the government have no control over population growth not immigration. Yes, Non-EU immigration has always been higher than EU immigration even before Brexit. However, they are Visa based and I imagine means they eventually run out. . The main point I was originally making is there is a correlation between all the new properties being built in Brentford and the one month wait at the GP's. . I admit I didn't know what Adam said, that Hounslow Council can't turn down a planning application due to lack of infrastructure because the developers pay an infrastructure levy. . I was just pointing out 'cause and effect' and don't know what the answer is unfortunately. What local government needs to do is check how much the population has grown in Brentford in the last 10 years and weigh up how much revenue from council tax and the infrastructure levy has gone back directly into the Brentford community. |
