| The new councillor has already made more than one reference to "you lot" and "you people" in his responses to forum users, and has also warned us that his view on matters may at times differ from that of the community, with the inference that in such an instance it is his view rather than ours which will prevail. It is to his credit that he has maintained Matt Harmer's fine tradition of keeping locals in the loop via his own regular personal bulletin, but if the purpose of that bulletin is simply to inform us lesser mortals of the decisions that have been made on our behalf by Those Who Know What's Best For Us then, as I have said before, its benefit to us is sadly negligible. |
