Most other posters seem to me to be fairly well balanced people with opinions that rarely accord with yours. Why is that do you think?" But Bernadette doesn't always have a go at people for holding minority opinions. This is what she said in defence of a poster on the Chiswick forum who was complaining about the alleged scarcity of white children at Hogarth School:- "Kyle has an opinion and he is entitled to it. You may not like it and it's definitely not very PC and that makes him quite brave in my book. It doesn't take much these days to be out of step with what everyone is allowed/supposed to think, say, believe etc. I have no idea whether he is correct in what he says or not but he is entitled to want what he preceives to be best for his children." Well, what do you know? A racist who is in a minority of one is treated by her like some sort of heroic rebel just trying to have his freedom of speech, whereas I have every insult in the book thrown at me just for defending a woman's right to wear what she chooses. |
