A couple of weeks ago on the tube I was confronted by a woman wearing the full regalia with just slits for her eyes. She had with her two children, a little boy who was dressed perfectly normally and a girl of about 3-4, dressed also in full regalia with face veil. I admit I have never seen that before but at the time I was genuinely appalled and hope this is not about to become the norm. In any event, this is NOT a form of dress in my opinion this is a MASK and there is a difference. I don't give a hoot what anyone wears (although I tend to agree that I find the fashion of having the waistband of trousers hanging round the knees most unattractive) They can wear the coveralls if they must but I see no justification for hiding behind masks - I doubt anyone wants to look at them anyway. As an aside, what an antisocial outfit it must be - how do these women ever go out to a restaurant or have a drink or eat or anything whilst at work or shopping like most normal people do - worse how do you smoke a fag? It's definitely not designed to help people interact and make friends with the rest of society is it? |
