Again, Mr Lambert is being disingenuous or is just thick if he doesn’t understand how GP surgery patient allocation works. It is a fact that you cannot get a same day face to face appointment with a GP. For emergencies you’re referred to phone for an ambulance or dial 111. The fact that some surgeries are open to receiving new registrations doesn’t mean you’ll get an appointment. Far from it. Mr Lambert is also being particularly devious by posting a link to a Chiswick Surgery which won’t accept patients from TW8!!! GP surgeries generally want more patients to register because their funding is directly tied to the number of patients on their list. In the NHS, a significant portion of a practice's income comes from a "Global Sum" payment, which is a fixed amount of money per registered patient. British Medical Association As Mr Lambert will know: As of mid-2025, the London Borough of Hounslow houses a significant number of asylum seekers, with estimates indicating around 1,500 to over 2,100 people in contingency accommodation (hotels), making it one of the top boroughs in London for asylum hotel usage. 69% were placed in hotel accommodation and a massive 31% are in social housing granted by the Council. It is a fact that those illegal immigrants who are afforded Council Housing are given preference over British Citizens on the Council Housing waiting lists. Mr Lambert claims to obtain his information from Academic Reports or people who work in the sector but he refuses to acknowledge that the Nuffield Report he swears by is based on now irrelevant data obtained nearly two decades ago. He also discounts information provided by teachers and head teachers who could advise categorically that immigrant pupils who cannot speak English are holding back English speaking pupils. Mr Lambert once again demonstrates his inability to accept public opinion on these matters just as he refused to accept a Democratic vote regarding the Church Street LTN. Does anybody want such an arrogant Councillor who refuses to listen to professionals and can’t accept facts. His current behaviour under the alleged Green banner appears to be even more desperate as his arguments are plainly nonsensical. |
