| That's a good question. First he was red then he was white and now he is green. I often speak to Guy he is a proud left winger and truly believes in that ideology. I on the other hand am a true right winger and a member of reform. What I stand for is: The people who have worked all their lives and paid into a system regardless of race colour or creed to be treated fairly and by that I mean access to all services before those who are here illegally or who have not contributed: The right to be seen by a doctor without waiting months The right to be housed first The right for their children to be educated without being held back for others who cant speak English The right for us to demand that those who come here integrate by learning English so we don't have to spend millions on printing in different language's The right to demand these people abide by our laws (when in Rome do as the romans do). Getting back to Hounslow I once after talking to a school Head Mistress at the area meeting in which she told me she had many bright young people who wanted a career in medicine but could not afford it as the 4 year training to become a junior doctor came to £250.000 so I suggested that the borough pay to train 20 each year at a cost of 5 million with the proviso that they must stay and practice in the Borough for five years after qualifying this would help cut waiting lists due to ever expanding population of Brentford and the Borough I thought this could be easily paid for out of the 13 million a year the borough makes from parking fines, alas no I am told that's all for bicycle lanes and training doctors is for the NHS now that's socialism if ever I heard it no imagination just same old same old. |
