| It looks as though the campaign against the closure of Church St. is gathering momentum, and quite right too. It appears for some dopey reason the council consulted Church St. and North St. separately, instead of combining that area! Talk about naïve, it's the old divide and rule again, but oh dear! They appear to have come well and truly unstuck this time. Don't they understand that with the power of the internet and Twitter, Streetlife, these forums, and Facebook campaigners can reach out to so many people. Set that against the council's p*sspoor performance and their abysmal display last week and you have a pretty big opposition movement building. Clearly this has rattled their cage, as so far nothing has been heard from any of them, no surprise there then! When in doubt stick your head in the sand, but don't forget you leave a very tender part of your anatomy revealed and you might just get it kicked. |
