| One word to sum up the meeting tonight - FARCE! Ed Mayne was clearly away with the fairies and Sue Sampson made a complete prat of herself when asked about the gridlock on Twickenham Rd. - I quote. "The only way we can see is to close Church St. which will force the council to do something about Twickenham Rd." either I missed it but aren't THEY the council? Stop letting officers pull your plonkers and TELL them what YOU want on our behalf. Anyway closure is going ahead - this meeting is the one that should have been held before nay decisions were taken, typical of this lot, make a decision, then go through the motions of actually caring what people want, then do what you decided to anyway. Joke, joke, joke. They haven't got a clue - and to think I gave up Emmerdale and Corrie for this! |
