| I'm afraid I have to agree with you this will make the Twickenham Road even more congested than it is now, I don't believe that the closure of Cole Park just off Twickenham Rd near the London Rd. roundabout on the A316 has been taken into account. That small road closure has made a colossal difference to traffic volumes as will the Church St. closure. Add to the mix the stupid roundabout at South St. and you have a long, large car park. All this has added to traffic gradually finding its way down the residential roads such as Worple Ave, Worple Rd. etc. and thence it will find its way out onto St. Margarets Rd. or South St. trying to cut a lump off Twickenham Rd and the A316 further down, madness. So one lot of residents who happen to live in VERY expensive houses get a traffic free enclave whilst the rest of us have to put up with yet more - great! |
