Looking forward to seeing the Press Release and any data to be shown on a website. LBH Watch is a good idea in my view...but don't we already do that in a limited way via these Forums?!! We have one less local newsletter keeping watch following the demise of the Brentford,Chiswick and Isleworth Times..agreed..so perhaps there is a need to replace it..and be well informed critics from the touchline. I know that the Heston Residents Association (a highly respected and well established and organised group of over 500) were not too happy with the performances of the nine Labour Councillors across the swathes of Heston..and that's why they put up their own candidate in the recent election. One remembers the shinanigans at the Civic Centre when the Labour Party were previously in control..and one doesn't want to that disgraceful civic behavior..at ratepayers expense again. The "Letters to the Editor" press cuttings from earlier years make alarming reading! Some of those Councillors should have been banished..and some were..but perhaps not all! I'm impressed that Isleworthian Des Begley may be involved with the Group. He is a highly respected Auditor with Local Governmemt and English Heritage experience..and is a great debater. Having that Campion House "champion" on board too is also impressive. They wouldn't perhaps have come forward unless they saw a need for their participation. |
