Further investigation has revealed that where potholes are reported in areas controlled by ICG Ward Cllrs., they get actioned pretty promptly i.e. they go before the relevant IBAC for consideration. Unfortunately, as has been shown recently, a certain Tory Cllr on IBAC (Cllr Sheila O'Reilly) didn't turn up for two consecutive IBAC meetings, and sent no apologies either, so the whole process is delayed by 6 months or so even though the ICG have been pushing for urgent approval of the expense. Other areas which may fall under Tory Cllrs have indeed received no consideration - possibly because Isleworth is of little concern to most and Chiswick would get preference. Suggest for Whitton Dene area residents should approach Tory Cllr Brad Fisher for some answers as he must have to use the road every day!!! |
