'The mislead bt making the assumption that all 'collisions' involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian or cycles are caused by the motor vehicle.'

STATS19 traffic casualty reports completed by the police do have an assessment of the cause of the collision. I have seen about 10 years of these reports for Chiswick High Rd for collisions involving motor vehicles and cyclists and pedestrians, and about 70% of these were the fault of the driver according to the police. The main reason was 'driver failed to look properly'.

Motor vehicles have been responsible for the vast majority of casualties on Brentford High Rd. Motor vehicles colliding with each other, colliding with cyclists, colliding with pedestrians, colliding with motorcycles, colliding with mobility scooters,

Would you be able to point everyone to the concerns raised by the groups who have 'first hand knowledge and expertise' regarding the last 20 years of casualties caused by motor vehicles?

Or are they just concerned about bikes?

A large proportion of the casualties on Brentford High St also involve buses.  Over the last 3 years, London buses have on average, killed someone every 6 weeks and put 3 people into hospital each day.

Is there any concern about that? Or just bikes?
