| Without wanting to get into any broader issue, the safety issues relating to the Paragon development have nothing to do with council planners. I have not seen anything in the Paragon coverage to suggest that the builders ignored any building regulations in place at the time of its construction. If any breaches took place this would be due to the developers themselves and possibly to failings by those responsible for building control regulation. If the current government rules on fire prevention etc. were followed then recent measures have been a consequence of the Grenfell tower tragedy. |
