| Nick I'm a big advocate of "extra parliamentary" activity, much to the annoyance of some who wrongly think it is my answer to everything. Possibly as somebody who has always had to operate outside of the self-declared political consensus it has been the only option available to me, nevertheless it does often work. Think of the publicity the wheelie bin protest has received as a consequence of the incident at Curran's home and how much it would have received if a petition had been handed in a Council meeting instead. All the same in this instance my advice would be to hold fire on anything which might be used by Curran to enhance his phoney victim status. Once the case against Paul has been dropped, as I'm sure it will be, that will be the time to remind the good people of Brentford what a piece of work they have for a Council Leader. |
