| Well the answer to that is probably - no, these are L.B.H.'s roads, however I would think their bus timetables being ruined would give them the right to complain. We can only hope that Cllr. Dennison's 'citizen engagement' brings forth a new era of actually listening and talking to local people. But judging on what's happened in the past, this will be just another policy document discussed with earnest platitudes and then never heard of again. But hey! They'll say 'we've got a policy'. The fact that the results of meaningful consultation may mean that the plebs don't agree and tell them they're wrong will condemn that policy to the bin immediately. This lot will only want to hear anything that agrees with their actions. |
