| Private Eye has noted the plans for the 'in principle' support for the 600 car park places wanted by GlaxoSmithKline. Under the heading 'Park Strife' it starts 'Councils are increasingly jumping aboard a stupid bandwagon. Parks cost money; parks are expensive to maintain. Therefore it makes sense to sell off part of the park. Money in the bank and less boring parkland to look after. Brilliant!' |
