Take a look at the websites of a few companies. Indigo and Forty Shillings. Have a read of some of their mission statements In particular dealing with objectors on planning issues. Take a look at their clients. These companies are very political. Not necessarily bias towards any one party. But do believe they are above the public. Then take a look at the declarations of LBH and other boroughs councillors and see how many have associations with such firms. Should a councillor be on any sort of planning committee when on a payroll of such companies? Only one I know of has declared such an interest ethically and stepped back but that means the loss of a councillor representing his or her ward voters. It is unethical. |
