| If you live and work in Brentford, then there should be no problem. The cost of a resident's permit - while still a cost, obviously - is not just the province of rich directors or managers on a good whack. If you work in Brentford and don't live within walking distance of Brentford, might I suggest public transport? It's cheaper, more convenient, less harmful to the environment and doesn't involve any parking issues. (And before anyone has a go - yes, I have a car. Yes, I drive it in London. And - yes - I travel to work on public transport.) |
