Just reading the threads of the consultation I would like to put forward that no-one has considered the economic well-being of Brentford. There are still a lot of people who work in Brentford and require free parking - we're not all rich directors or managers on a good 'whack' - just plain old working class. What arrangements/considerations will you make for the shop traders and their parking requirements? Most workers (and I'm talking about those who work in Brentford - not the commuters) park in St Paul's Road. This has a park on one side of it. Are you advocating a CPZ on that side as well? Whatever the considerations/consultation a bad CPZ or one that's going to cost the businesses and their workers money will eventually kill the High Street. "Here endeth the first lesson". |
