| For too long CPZs were the sledgehammer to crack a nut with unwelcome unintended consequences. I think we are moving to a far more careful use of them where they are introduced based on the minimum number of hours such as the aforementioned Ealing scheme - which is where I got the idea from! I have long beleived that the IBAC (Isleworth and Brentfor Area Committee) area would benefit from a reassessment of all existing CPZs to winnow out those that aren't working for the overall benefit of residenet. Would be happy to propose this at IBAC if there is general support for this. Jon Hardy Cllr for Syon |
