| Here in close proximity to the RFU stadium we have a match day CPZ, this is free and paid for by the RFU after lots of talking and consultation some years ago. It has made a tremendous difference, at one time you didn't dare go out on a match day for fear of not being able to even get back to your street, and if you did you had no chance of being able to park. That no longer happens although you are wise to go out once the crowds have gone in, and give them time to clear the area afterwards. There have been some areas of concern but overall it has been a great success and I wonder if this isn't worth exploring in Brentford although I doubt Brentford FC have the resources to subsidise it, however the match day only aspect might be worth considering? |
