| I popped over last weekend to have a mooch now that the hoardings are down. Superficially and if you squint your eyes it looks like the previous building even though we all know it is not. They have rebuilt the chimney, I expect it is a decorative feature rather than a working one, but still - a small plus. Given the damage the developers have inflicted thus far, it could have been much worse I suppose. It is what it is. There are only two exterior doors - on on the east wall and one onto the street. I am not sure if this means that the developers have accepted they have to make a single dwelling or whether they will continue to press for two units against the council's explicit ruling thus far. |
