| Listed building consent? Are these clowns taking the p*ss? They've all but demolished the building already, what the hell is wrong with Hounslow's planning enforcement? If this can be done to a listed building what chance is there for far less serious contraventions of planning regs.? At last week's planning cttee. the Chief Planning Officer made a case for retrospective planning permission on - again - a listed building, where the developers had decided not to install the acceptable type of windows they'd agreed but a cheaper version which attracted objections. According to the Chief Planning Officer if the application was not approved then they'd have to involve enforcement - perish the thought. If Hounslow wants to save money perhaps they should consider not having a planning department altogether, this is a joke. |
