| Some methods used by Labour to gain votes on the Ivybridge Estate yesterday would I reckon would have even made an election in Zimbabwe or Afghanistan seem extra corrupt but the bottom line is that the General Election on the same day destroyed any hope of Independent Groups winning seats. Hounslow Council is now a Labour Administration with absolutely no opposition apart from the Conservatives and so I guess we will all see how this pans out but no sour grapes from me and lets hope that things turn out the best they can I think over the last four years I have represented Isleworth I gave it my best shot and have no regrets at all and I sincerely hope that my successors carry this on |
