"none of the Conservative Councillors expressed prefaced their questions by stating their opposition to the scheme." That's not strictly true David. Councillor Bradley Fisher was warned on several occasions by the Chair to stop expressing oppinions, which were clearly against the application, during questions to the applicants. The fact is that all councillors on this committee voted according to party lines with the exception of Councillor Jabbal (and good on him) and the Chair, who's vote was not required. Pre-determination was at the forefront and there for all to see. Still, Councillor Cadbury is free to go around knocking on doors safe in the knowledge that she can tell everyone that she didn't vote for this development!! |
