| The Borough of Brentford and Chiswick should never have been included in the larger Hounslow Borough. There was no division in the old borough, until the powers that be decided on having larger boroughs and decided to split the old borough in-half. So some blame can be attached to them, but in recent times any division has been created by fortress Lampton with some of there ridiculous decisions like closing the Chiswick Day Center and CPZ,s by Stealth even though public consultations defeated by vote on two occasions. Lets face it a councilor from Feltham or Bedfont may have a outline about Brentford and Chiswick but wont have the detail knowledge of Councilors in the actual area. Last nights vote was political, Labour against Conservatives, apart for one councilor who must have forgot why they were there as it was past their bedtime |
